Email Markup: The evolution to traditional emails

It’s a midweek afternoon, you’re checking your email for pending messages due tomorrow, and suddenly you receive a marketing email. At first, you think it’s just another one of those emails you get every day, but this message is special; it doesn’t look like the others.
These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.
This is the power of Schema.org for email messages. If you’ve tried Google Inbox, you may have noticed that certain messages appear in a special way, for example, airline tickets, event invitations, etc.
These messages are analyzed by Gmail and displayed with additional options within the general email list, which is why, in theory, they have a higher click-through rate (CTR) than a traditional email.
